How do you fix a Phillips dvd player that changes from color to black&white while it plays a dvd?
Q. My Phillips MX3660D dvd player used to work fine but now while watching a dvd, the tv flips back and forth from color to black and white, sometimes constantly, sometimes just occasionally but, if you rewind it and play it again, it always changes at the same places in the movie. The TV works fine otherwise, even using the same component jacks for other devices. I've changed the cables but that didn't change anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

A. Check the video sytems setting if it matched with the TV. The PAL, SECAM, NTSC thing.

How do I connect Xbox 360 to Phillips full HD 1080P?
Q. I want to connect my Xbox 360 to my new TV. Its a Phillips 1080p full HD TV. My problem is I can only see the 3 standard definition cable outputs (Red, White and Yellow) and I want to connect it as its HD using the other ones (Blue, Green and Red). Can anyone give me a step by step guide on how I connect it, it will be much appreciated.

A. If you have a full HD tv you should have Componant plugs (Blue, Green and Red) they will be some where, you also must use the white and red audio plugs too. You must also make sure the block that connects into your xbox for the video lead is switched to HD (it has a switch on the block that connects to the xbox) If you do not have component on you tv then you must have a HD slot. Component is not proper HD, only a HD lead can provide a HD signal. You should go buy one of them and plug that in. That is if your xbox has the HD connection slot as not all xboxs do. Cheers Scoops

A. It will use 45 watts. maximum. It takes 45 watts to initialize the starter, once it is warmed up, then it will drop down to the wattage used by the F. Tube, which is 35 watts.
