Edison Park, Chicago Information

Edison Park (formerly Canfield) is one of 77 community areas of Chicago, Illinois. It is a residential neighborhood in northwest Chicago, USA, named after Thomas Alva Edison. According to the 2000 Census, its population is 11,259. The neighborhood stages an annual Edison Park Fest, which features food from all around the northwest side of Chicago. Edison Park Fest occurs around mid-August. Edison Park has one of the highest populations of Irish ancestry in Chicago.
