How to download a media player to watch downloaded episodes?
Q. I recently downloaded some episodes from Eyeshield 21 since they didn't work online. The first one worked and I watched it using Windows Media Player. The next two didn't seem to be accepted by the program. Then I decided to try to download another media player to see if it could play my video. I ended up with the Adobe Media Player, which didn't seem to work either. What can I do to watch my episodes? Is it the episodes themselves causing the problem or the program? If the program, give me some good media players, the sites to download, or an explanation?

A. Well, telling us what the file type is would be very helpful (like is the episode an .avi, .mkv, .ogm, etc.) Without knowing the file type the best advice I can give you is to download CCCP and install it along with your Windows Media Player, this will enable it to play a lot more file types. Or if it still doesn't work after that, just download VLC media player, it plays basically every file type there is. And if it happens to be an .rmvb file then you'll either need RealPlayer or install Real Alternative so that rmvb files can play with Windows Media Player.

A. you need to enter your bios in your comp,, when starting up,, hit what ever it says to enter setup, whether that be delete button, f2, f10 or whatever else,, then go to the either advanced bios or boot order menu,, and make your hd drive first boot device,,, from what youre explaining, it sounds like your dvd or cdrom may be set as first boot device, if thats the case, your comp is trying to read from your cd first,,, and that causes a boot conflict,, so to be clear, your first boot device will be your hd drive, second will be your dvd or cdrom, third will be a floppy if you have one,, then save your settings by hitting f 10 and it will say save configuration, you just click yes,, and it will reboot, and you should be all set,, you… [cont.]

How do I completely eliminate Windows Media Player from my computer?
Q. I recently accidentally activated the Windows Media Player on my computer, and now when I download music (legally) the only way my song will play is through Windows Media Player. I do not like Windows Media and I want the songs to play on my iTunes, so I can listen to them on my ipod. I have tried to get rid of it but all I really manage to do is delete the shortcut. Any words of wisdom? Thank you!

A. click on my computer, and navigate to your "c" drive. find a folder called program files and double click on it. near the bottom will be a folder named windows media player. right click on it and select delete. p.s. if it says "cannot delete file because it is currently in use" restart your computer and while it is rebooting, continually press F8. a screen will pop up. select safe mode. when it has booted up repeat the steps in the paragraph above. after restart your computer again and there should be absolutely no trace of windows media player ever again(unless you install it again)
